I'm getting ready to fly

Aaahhhhh! I can't even imagine the explosion of excitement and fear all at the same time. Sky diving is something Chris and I have talked about but never seriously considered until this summer. We are going up on the 25th, 10,000 feet in the freakin air! I just experienced the of the rip cord at Michigan Adv. a couple days ago- I can't even imagine what sky diving will do to me.

I'm a little afraid to find out. I might land with a puddle between my legs. But more then fear, I will feel free! Free to fly- even if it lasts only a couple minutes, it will be a glimpse of the freedom we will one day expereince with Jesus Christ.

A young "very unexpereinced" writer

I have set up this blog because I am completely undecided if I like writing, and if I would really like to attempt at writing my own book.

It is late, but my husband is out of town and I am doing something new out of our regular schedule.

Every woman needs time like this. A complete day to yourself to do ALMOST nothing. I would never be doing this regularly. Is it a waste of time?

Reading Fetish

Do you every read one of those books that is so enticing, so truly captivating that you not only can not put that book down but reading all together? I realized after I read "this certain book" that reading just came more alive to me. Sure I have enjoyed books in the past, but reading in itself was not something that I found relaxing and enjoyable. I am not going to say which book did this for me because it would be a different book for everyone. However, I do have great respect for this unspoken author and I will possibly share this person at another time? hmmm, haven't decided that yet.
